You can drop in here to have your jewelry repaired, too. We have a full repair shop in-house that stays open six days a week. We don’t ship our repair jobs out of the store. So, if you happen to lose a stone or break a prong, we can probably repair the damage within a couple of days. • There is no such thing as a ‘cut grade’ with fancy cut diamonds
• Determining the stone’s sparkle or ‘make’ is through polish and symmetry alone
• Polish and symmetry are graded as good, very good or excellent.

With emerald cuts, the diamond experts at Distinctive Diamonds recommend you go for a higher clarity rating (compared to that of round stones). For instance, choosing VS clarity (very slightly included) rather than SI clarity (slightly included) is a good idea, since you can see more imperfections or inclusions with this cut when looking down through the stone.
